Appointment Scheduling

When you are a new patient, you must arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment to complete the necessary personal health and insurance forms. Upon arrival for your appointment, please register at the reception desk before being seated. Please be advised that most appointments are only 30 to 45 minutes long. Consequently, arriving to your initial appointment less than 15 minutes early and with 15 minutes of formwork to do will not allow enough time for you. Please call in advance if you are running late. Sometimes we can still accommodate you. We try our best to be prompt with our scheduled appointments. However, emergencies sometimes occur which may cause an unexpected delay. Most delays, when they occur, are 5 to 10 minutes on average. If they are longer than this we will attempt to contact you if we anticipate it. We appreciate you and your patience and understanding.

We try to confirm appointments by telephone prior to the appointment but do not depend on this courtesy. If we are unable to contact you, your appoinment sticker will serve as the confirmation of your appointment and implies your obligation to be present.

If you are going to miss your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. Twenty-four hours notice on an appointment cancellation allows us to better serve our entire practice, including you. A charge will be made for failed appointments without a twenty-four hour notice. Exceptions to this rule can be determined on an individual basis.
